As part of the 3rd CRC 854 International Symposium: „Molecular Organization of Immune Cell Communication“, the GRK 2408 and GRK 2413 offered a virtual immuno-neuro satellite symposium on November 24th, 2021. Embedded between stimulating lectures by doctoral students of the immunological-oriented GRK 2408 and the neuroscientific GRK 2413, almost 50 PhD and MD candidates were allowed to follow Prof. Heneka’s (DZNE, Bonn) impressive lecture about the role of the innate immunity for neurodegeneration.
