To prepare our second cohort of PhD candidates in the best possible way for the upcoming PhD years, we offered the PhD Starters Week in September 2023. In the morning sessions, our PIs gave lectures on topics highly relevant to SynAGE. In the afternoon sessions, our participants joined exciting soft-skill workshops and an Alumni Gathering.

Our Alumni Gathering is part of the Postdoc Appreciation Week 2023.

As part of the PhD Starters Week, we would also like to take the opportunity to thank our former PhD candidates for their commitment and excellent scientific work. For this purpose, we have organized an Alumni Gathering, where our current PhD and MD candidates can exchange ideas with former ones. Moreover, we will present the SynAGE Award for special achievement in the RTG to former PhD candidates and meanwhile postdocs. Everybody interested is welcome to join!
